No self-taught instructors, no unverified certificate holders. For Quran and Tajweed teachers, a personal Ijazah chain linking them back to the Prophet ﷺ is a mandatory requirement before they are approved to teach.

Yes. Qualified female scholars are available across all major subjects including Quran, Tajweed, Qaida, Arabic, and Islamic studies. Families may request a female teacher at the time of enrollment, and we will match accordingly. Sisters and girls are most welcome at Kanzulilm.

Following your free trial session, the Director personally oversees teacher assignment based on the student's level, subject, preferred gender of teacher, time zone, and learning goals. You will not be randomly allocated — every pairing is considered deliberately to ensure the best possible learning relationship.

An Ijazah is a formal scholarly authorization — a teacher certifying that a student has learned and mastered a particular text or science to a required standard, and granting them permission to transmit that knowledge to others. For Quran teachers, an Ijazah chain is a documented, unbroken line of transmission going back through generations of scholars all the way to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself. When your child learns Quran at Kanzulilm, they are receiving knowledge that has been transmitted through this living, authenticated chain for 1,400 years.

Our M.Phil and PhD scholars are primarily assigned to advanced subjects — Quran Tafseer, Quran Translation, Seerah, Hadith sciences, and Dars-e-Nizami courses — where their research-level depth adds exceptional value. For Quran recitation and Tajweed, our certified Huffaz and Qurra are the appropriate specialists, as these sciences require an authenticated Ijazah chain, not merely an academic degree.
